• The Bachem Group is investing in a new site in Sisslerfeld in Northwestern Switzerland. This step is part of the long-term strategy to expand production capacity by the end of the decade. The new production site will play a central role in achieving these goals

• You are a technical expert (SME) for the process discipline within a major CAPEX program
• Project management for the automation part as well as leading a team of external planners
• Development and establishment of the process automation concepts (especially Level 1 & Level 2)
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners, including production, MSAT, research and development, IT, OT and quality assurance
• You support the project from conceptual planning to commissioning, taking into account the industry standards
• Responsibility for compliance with the required quality, regulations, budgeted costs and deadlines for your area

Your profile:

• University degree as an engineer specializing in automation, electrical engineering or a related field
• Hands on experience in implementing Siemens automation stack incl. OpCenter
• Sound expertise in the implementation of PAT, data historian and MES solutions in chemical-pharmaceutical API production plants
• Several years of experience as an independent automation discipline lead within major projects
• Knowledge of GMP qualification requirements in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry
• Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex technical challenges in an industrial environment
• Experience in project management
• High resilience and flexibility
• Very good knowledge of German and English, project language in English
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
