At Bachem, you’ll work closely with a team of highly experienced specialists from diverse departments, including production, quality control, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and project management. You’ll also have access to modern ERP and CRM systems to support your success
Develop a deep understanding of products, industry trends and market dynamics to provide expert insights
Strategically develop assigned sales territories, identifying growth opportunities and building strong customer relationships
Organize and conduct visits to existing and prospective customers to strengthen partnerships
Lead price and contract negotiations with customers to maximize Bachem’s benefit
Oversee the entire sales process, from generating quotations to ensuring successful delivery of products
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, addressing inquiries related to product quality, regulatory filings, GMP production and analytical questions
Enhance customer satisfaction and optimize the quality of service through effective communication and support
Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system to ensure accurate and timely records
Actively participate in financial forecasting, demand planning, product design and market strategy discussions to align with business objectives
Act as a subject matter expert in Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects, coordinating internal activities to drive success
Represent the company at international exhibitions, building brand presence and foster business opportunities
Your profile:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences or Business
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in technical sales or strategic sourcing within a CDMO/CMO setting
Familiarity with the Indian and MENA markets
Proven expertise in contract negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving
Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset
Hands-on, flexible and results-driven approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English; proficiency in German and any additional languages is advantageous
Proficient in IT tools (MS Office), ERP systems (SAP) and CRM platforms (Salesforce)
Ability to travel internationally up to 20%
